I influenced curriculum, presented brand and marketing insights from the field to students and was elected external adjudicator for the restaurant operation, brand and marketing theory modules.
Experience Envelope | Keynote
Keynote for BA Hons students at The Emirates Academy on the fundamentals of innovating and delivering on a hospitality service philosophy, that surrounds the guest with enriching and all encompassing experiences. This can be used to migrate away from the traditional and ubiquitous product hardware narratives to more memorable and enduring ‘heart-ware’ people conversations.
Brand Immersion Workshops
I designed and facilitated several bespoke and extensive two day ‘co-creation’ workshops to discover a brands positioning and enduring essence with clients across the globe. With up to 40 attendees in each, the workshops explored emotional, rational and physical benefits and attributes, to mine for deeply-rooted insights and universal truths. This revealed a brands true promise, purpose and persona, which helped discover and shape (not make up) a potent and new defendable positioning to take to market.

Conceived, designed and authored the 2019 Kerzner & Atlantis global sales, marketing and communications Like-Wired conference, derived to embrace and unleash the all important power of ‘likeability’ in business. Aligned to the corporate business plans and building on my previous conference theme ‘The Collaborative Enterprise’ this ideology future-proofed the sales and marketing teams to deliver on the ‘human touch’ and much needed ‘likeonomics’ aligned to the Kerzner ‘Business It’s Personal’ manifesto.
Kerzner | The Collaborative Enterprise
Orchestrated and creatively ideated the 2018 Kerzner global sales, marketing and revenue conference. Content was designed and programmed to forge a path to unity (not uniformity) through deeper collaboration, agility and flexibility across a diverse global team. Embracing the tech platform deployed through Salesforce this collaboration of hearts, minds, needs and wants provided an ideology to guide colleagues and re-affirm Kerzner’s position as the preferred choice of luxury hospitality operators.

Authored and presented three day training courses entitled ‘unleashing the power of logic to create f&b marketing magic’ and ‘great logic, great magic, great results’ to Hyatt MENA regional marketing directors and managers. The training explored edgy, disruptive content and strategic planning tools for success with omni-channel marketing activations.
GRIF | Investment Forum
Global Restaurant Investment Forum conference theme, concept design, and invited keynote speaker to the attendees of global investors, hoteliers, and restaurateurs. Exploring the emerging space of ‘Community Culinary Experiences’ and global future trends in the F&B landscape provided the much-needed ignition points to influence ongoing marketing strategy.
